WGS Systems, LLC, is looking for an Intermediate Field Service Representative with varying
experience and with backgrounds in aerospace and defense electronic system and product
design, and fabrication, to join our company in Frederick, Maryland. All work will take place in
New Mexico.

Successful candidates will have prior experience with airborne platform integration,
troubleshooting, and testing. Must be capable of reading and following assembly drawings and
wiring diagrams correctly.

Key Responsibilities/Duties Include:

  • Airborne platform and ground-based system integration and testing
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for aircraft PSP Group A systems
  • Mounting interfaces, cooling provisions and cable fabrication and routing
  • Mechanical installation of components and chassis into products and systems
  • Integrate imagery, radar, and signal collection sensors
  • Install and operate various military and civil voice and data link radio systems
  • Close interaction with aircraft personnel and multiple engineering disciplines
  • Provide system integration support to prime and sub-contractors
  • Conduct laboratory and field testing of components and systems
  • Line replaceable unit troubleshooting and debugging
  • Provide weekly status updates to Leadership

Qualification requirements:

  • Candidate must be a United States citizen and will be required to maintain a
    government SECRET security clearance.
  • AA technical degree with at least 4 years of applicable experience or equivalent
    military/technical training with at least 6 years of applicable experience.
  • 6+ years’ experience with Air Force airborne platforms
  • 2+ years’ experience working with Precision Strike Packages
  • Minimum Associates Degree within Aviation Studies
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and support system
  • IPC-610, 620 and J-STD Certifications
  • Have proficiency in the use of electronic and mechanical tools
  • RF and electrical test equipment and measurements experience
  • Ability to read and work with schematics and wiring diagrams, as well as mechanical
    drawings.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Windows-based applications
  • Linux experience a plus
  • Occasional domestic and international travel will be required
